Alone Time

Do you ever think of how much alone time you have?  What do I mean alone time?  I’m talking about time when you are by yourself.  Just the other day, I had just finished my workout and as I looked around the gym, most people were paired with someone else.  I went to the market to buy groceries and again I noticed that most people were paired with someone.  I began to think to myself how many times I find myself alone.   I go to church alone.  I workout alone.  I shop alone. I study the Word of God alone.  I go to the doctor alone.  Alone!   Alone!

As I thought more about how much time I spend alone, the Spirit of God reminded me that I am never alone.  God said that he will never leave us.  Plus, He sent the Holy Spirit to live in us. Some of you may say, sure, but you can’t physically touch God, or how do I know that He is there.  First and foremost, you have to have faith in what God said.  So you must believe in God.  For example, let’s say you are standing and want to sit down.  You see a chair in the room.  You walk up to the chair, turn your back side to the chair and proceed to bend your legs and place yourself on the chair.  You have faith in the chair meaning that you believe that the chair is able to withhold your weight.  If you did not have faith in the chair, you would not sit on it.

Well, belief in God is the same way.  You have to believe in your heart that He is with you and He is there for you.  You must study the Word of God to increase your faith and to renew your mind.  Ask God to help you with your faith.  As you begin to spend more time with God, He becomes more real to you.  He will begin to speak to you (in your spirit).  As you begin to keep His Word, God will reveal himself to you more, and you will realize that you are never alone.

While Outside

As I sit in a special corner of my house, I have an amazing view of outside.  Not only is this my sit corner, but it also serves as my write...
