FAITH IS !

There is so much conversation today concerning faith.  It is the primary subject of most Christian broadcasts and services.  Mountains of faith books flood the market place, and yet, people still have trouble with "faith".   I like to think of faith in the following ways.  First, faith is an action word, or required action. By action, I mean you have to do something if you have faith.    Second, faith is an act of patience, or faith is long term.   You can't have faith for a little while and expect it to work.  You must maintain (have patience) faith until the results of your faith is realized.  Third, faith is believing that you will receive; and you believe by standing on God's words as it applies to your situation. Fourth, faith is immovable, or unshakable.  Don't be moved from your faith posture or position. Stand and continue to stand on the God's word.  God word is true and if you believe that, don't move.   Finally, faith is strong. Strong faith says, "I'm not moving, I'm not wavering, I'm not doubting, and I'm standing for as long as it takes."

So to all, show your faith, work your faith, believe in your faith and see the blessing of our God upon you.

A Powerful Way To Start Your Day

Psalm 103: 1-5 says, “Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities; Who heals all of your diseases; Who redeems your life from pit (destruction); Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion (tender mercy); Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.”

Reciting this passage of Psalm is a good way to start your day every day.  It is a voluntary declaration of the goodness of God; and it speaks to your soul (intellect) all the way to your spirit (within me) telling you to Bless the Lord.   We bless the Lord by recognizing who He is (His holy name); by honoring who He is; and giving Him praise and thanksgiving from our lips.  You are instructed to remember the benefits that God has given us through His son, Jesus Christ.  Some of the benefits are described such as, the forgiveness of your sins, the healing of your body, and your redemptive life of salvation. The crowning of lovingkindness and compassion declares to the world that you belong to Him.  Your years are filled with good things which include a renewed body.

Bless the Lord & Be Blessed

While Outside

As I sit in a special corner of my house, I have an amazing view of outside.  Not only is this my sit corner, but it also serves as my write...
