If you want to prosper in our life (in every area), study Psalm 1:1-3. Clearly, God has given us the keys to prospering in these verses, Prosperous is not just about money or wealth. It includes divine health, a saved family, answers to prayers, deliverance, guidance, counsel, in fact, it includes all of the promises God made to us (in the Bible). Now that's a lot of prosperity!
Psalm 1:3-1 says, "1. Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. 2. But his delight is in the law of the Lord and on His law he meditates day and night. 3. He is like a tree planted by streams of water which yield its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatsoever he does prospers."
In verse 1, we see there is a promise of blessing to those who do not walk with, talk to, or do what the wicked do. There is a promise of blessing to those who do not stand with the sinners or participate in sinning. In verse 2, a blessed man delights himself in the word of God. That is, he loves the word of God. The word of God is pleasurable to a blessed man and he (the man) meditates on the word of God both day and night. He meditates on the word of God by giving it first priority in his life. He purposefully aims to study the word of God. He intentionally studies the word of God. He continues throughout the day to keep the word of God on his brain, in his heart and speaks it out of his mouth.
In verse 3, a blessed man who delights in the word of God, who meditates on God's word day and night, will be like a tree that is planted by water. A tree planted by waters is vibrate. It is nourished. It grows strong. It leaves are full of life and bring forth fruit. A blessed man, just like the tree, will be nourished, or in other words, fed and taken care of by God. A blessed man, just like the tree, will yield good fruit, that is, his results will be good and people will notice his fruit.
Finally, a whatsoever a "blessed man does will prosper. This is a promise to a man or woman who makes a decision to follow the instruction in Psalm 1:1-3.
Whatsoever is what you so sever do will prosper if you walk with God, obey His laws and meditate on His word day and night. You are promised a prosperous and blessed life.
