Forgiveness Open Doors

We as mere humans have trouble forgiving.  We often say, I forgive, but I won't forget. Consider this question.   Can a person truly forgive if he or she will never forget whatever it is or was?  God said that he will remember your sins no more and put them the sea of forgetfulness. God has given us a command to forgive and it would be wise of us to obey his Word.  Go to the book of Mark 11:25.  In this book Jesus said,  "And when you stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any that; that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you and your trespasses."

Read Mark 11:25 one more time.  Did you get it?  Forgiving is not a choice, it it is a command. We are to forgive.  Let's put it this way, if you want your sins forgiven, then you too must forgive.  This is what Mark 11:25 is saying. Praying to God without forgiving others, block your prayers; and then we wonder why our prayers go unanswered.  Wonder no more. Fogiveness opens doors to answered prayers.

So my brothers and sisters (and me too), the next time you pray, forgive.  If you have trouble in this area, ask God to help you.  Ask God to remove the hurt and pain from you so you can obey Mark 11;25 and forgive.  God will do it if you ask him because he loves you and only wants the best for you.

Be Blessed.

God Loves You

In Romans 8:38-39 Paul says, "For I am persuaded, neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."  WOW!  This is good news, good word and just plain ole good.

There is nothing -absolutely nothing that  can separate (stop) God from loving us.  He loves us.  He cares us for.  He will provide for us. He will heal us.  He will help us. He will direct us.  God loved us so much that He sent his son, Jesus, to earth to be born of a woman; to walk on this earth as a man; to take on all of the evils of this world; to die for us and to the glory of God, to go to hell and was raised from the dead so we do not have to.

Jesus is now sitting at the right hand of God interceding for us.  This is a whole lot of love folks. God's love is unfailing and it is everlasting.  No matter what you have done or did, he loves us and has made a way for us to be forgiven through his son, Jesus Christ.  God wants us to know how much he loves us and one way to know is to spend time with him, to study his Word and to pray. When we do these things, he will reveal himself and we will get to know him.

Be Blessed in the Lord!

God is Good

God is Good.  God loves you and He wants to take care of you. The Bible is full of God's promises. I encourage you to take time to read God's Word, get to know Him and see that He is merciful and loving.  The scriptures below are just a glimpse of what God has said that He will do for you.

Lamentation 3:25, "The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him; to those who seek him quietly.

Psalm 91: 1, " He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty."

Psalm 37:4, "Delight your self in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart."

Psalm 40:1, " I waited patiently for the Lord, for he turned to me and heard my cry."

Psalm 91:14-16, "Because he loves me, says the Lord, "I will rescue him. I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.  He will call upon me,  and I will answer him; I will be with him in the time of trouble.  I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and how him my salvation."

Spend time in the Word of God, Believe, Confess, and Expect!

God's Glory

"To the glory of God.  May God get the glory.  So that God may be glorified."  Most of us have heard these statements either in church, in the Bible, or from a man or woman of God.  But have you ever thought about what "God's Glory" mean?  Why is the Bible full of such declarations? Why are these important?   Let me explain.

God's Glory is his power.  God's Glory is his ability to set us free from all issues of life.  God's Glory is His awesome presence. God told Moses to stand behind a cliff on the mountain so when He (God) passed by Moses could see his glory (presence).  When the children of Israel were hungry and wanted meat to eat, Moses told them that in the morning they would see his (God) glory; and they did. God gave them quail to eat. Glory is this statement is God's power.

To sum it up, God's Glory is for us because he loves us.  God's Glory will deliver you and set you free. God's Glory will work on your behalf.  Have faith, believe, and don't doubt, and you will see or experience God's Glory; and when this happens, God will be glorified in the earth.

Be Blessed!

Life Happens - Part 1

Life happens to us all.  No matter who you are, what you have or don't, life happens.  Life happens is a phrase that I've used for some time now because it sums up the transition of life events, be it good or bad.  Life happens to the young at heart and the seasoned and mature adults.  Eventually, life happens to all of us at some time of our lives.   Because life happens, the key issue is not the event, but how you, me, we handle the event.  When a good "life happens" occurs, what do we do?  How do we handle a negative or bad "life happens" event?  You might say, good life happens events are a breeze and easy to deal with.  Well let's take a dipper dive.

When a good life happens event takes place, do you consider yourself above every one?  Do you think that you are untouchable and have no compassion for others who are not where you are? Do you look at yourself and say, "look what I did"?  You see a "good life happens" event has the potential to give you a sense of pride and arrogance;  a sense that you do not need God.  If this happens, you are entering into dangerous territory.  So my sisters and brothers in Christ, when a "good life happens" event comes your way, ask God to keep you humble.  Thank God for blessing you with the "good life happens" event.  By doing so, you will not give the devil a chance to corrupt you and your experience. Testify to others about your event without bragging, but in worship and praise to God for his goodness and blessing.  By doing  this you will give others hope in God and you will keep yourself humble. Scripture tells us if anyone brags, let him brag in the Lord.

Be Blessed!

Good Friday Every Day

The Friday before Jesus' death is known as Good Friday.  People are excited, filled with joy, take off from work, attend special services, and eat special dinners on the Friday before Easter.  I submit to you that everyday you get up is a "Good Friday".  Of course you may not be able to take off from work or prepare special dinners, but the joy, the happiness and the sharing of love should be every day.

God's divine plan to redeem us through the death and blood shed of Jesus should caused us to be happy every day.  God's divine purpose for giving us His only son to die for us should caused us to have joy and be excited every day.  God's awesome display of love for us by providing away for us to become children, if only we would believe and receive him, should be a "Good Friday" experience every day. So as you read this blog today, make a decision that you will rejoice, be happy and share his love, for today is your "Good Friday" all over again.

Give God the glory today for giving us his son.  Praise God for saving us.

Victory - Say What God Said

I hope today finds you well, full of hope, belief and love.   No matter what you are going through right now, at the present moment, remember, that there is nothing impossible for God.  He is whatever you need Him to be.  He is your help.  He is your deliverer. He is your healer.  He is your supplier.  He is your mediator.  He is your comforter.  He loves you.  He loves you so much that He sent His Son, Jesus to the earth to take on all the issues of life so we do not have to.  You may be saying, sure, but all I've stated are Words.  How do I apply those words?  How do I begin?

You know, I'm glad you asked that question and the answer my friend is simple.  You begin first by speaking to yourself out loud what God has already said.  Simple.  Just say what He has said.  Take God's Word into your mouth and speak them out loud everyday, all day, or as much as you need to. When you wake up in the morning, speak God's Word by saying "Good Morning Lord, No weapon formed against me shall prosper. Order my steps Lord."  When you go through out your day say, "Hi Lord, I walk by faith and not by sight, I walk in the blessing of Abraham and I thank you for it."  When you arrive home in the evening say, "Lord I thank you for the keeping me and my family safe.  I am a living walking testimony of your Word."   Glory to God!

As you go through each day, make time to study the Word of God.  Make time to get in his presence and as you do, your spirit will grow and develop; and as your spirit grows and God begins to reveal himself to you, your understanding, declarations and faith will grow in the promises of God.  Your spirit will thirst and God's Word will quench your thirst.

You must continue to study because your faith needs to be filled each day.  Lamentations 3: 22 says, "Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed for his compassion (love for us) never fail. They are new every morning; great is your (His) faithfulness."  So everyday, the love of God will give us what we need, brand new, to deal with whatever we are facing.   Praise God - brand new stuff everyday to defeat the enemy!!!

Do study the Word of God - your victories are in His Word delivered out of your mouth in faith.

Be Blessed!

By Faith

Hebrews 11:1 says "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." (NIV version). In other words, faith is believing in what we cannot see in the physical world but because of your belief you will see it in the physical world.  Will see is present tense.  You will see it if you keep believing and doubt not.  God is pleased when we believe and walk in faith.  In fact, the Bible tells us that it is impossible to please God without faith.  I have listed examples from the Bible where faith caused a physical manifestation in the earth.  Read the scriptures and see for yourself the miracle working power of God through faith.

By Faith, God created the universe. (His commands. (Genesis 1)
By Faith, Mary conceived Jesus.  (Gospels Matthew, Mark and Luke)
By Faith, Elizabeth conceived John. (Gospels Matthew, Mark and Luke)
By Faith, Abraham and Sarah became parents of Isaac.(Gen. 17:15-19 & 20:1-3)
By Faith, the lady with in issue of blood disease, touched the hem of of Jesus garment and she was held immediately. (Matthew 9:18-22)
By Faith, a Centurion's servant was healed from paralysis and suffering. (Matthew 8:13)
By Faith, Jesus feeds thousands. (Mark 8:1-9)

By Faith is a powerful phrase.  By Faith you are saved or can be saved.  By Faith, you can have an abundant life on this earth.  By Faith you can be healed. By Faith your needs can be meet.  By Faith you can pray for others and their needs can be meet.  By Faith I hope you received this message from God and walk in a life of Faith to the Glory of God.

Be Blessed.

You Must Be Born Again

Happy New Year.  My desire for this blog is that God will continue to instruct me on what to say and that He will speak to you through the words that you read.  I hope in the Lord that I have been a blessing to you and through faith you have increased in knowledge of Him in spirit and truth.

If you are not born again or haven't received the Lord Jesus as your savior, allow me to lead you to Jesus.  Jesus took on the sin of the whole world and experienced a physical and spiritual death from God, so that whoever believes in Him and accepts Him will be saved.  Romans 10:9-10 says "That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

If you want to be saved right now, please say, "Lord I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord, and I believe in my heart that God raised him from the dead." Thank you Lord for saving me.

Welcome to God's family.  You are indeed on a blessed pathway.
