God's Love

John 3:16 (NIV) says that "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life".   Think about this for a moment - how much love God had, has and have for me and you, that he sent his only son to the world to die a physical death so we can have the opportunity to not die a physical death and have eternal life in heaven.  Think about how Jesus was obedient to God that he willingly gave his life for us.  The love of God is more that we can imagine or think.  But his love is ever so real.  God's love for us moves him to bless us; to provide for us; to heal us; to take care of us; to keep us; to have mercy on us and the list goes on.  When you think about his love and all that it encompasses, it brings you to tears.  A loving God who seeks the earth daily searching for someone to bless; someone who will receive by faith his promises.  Do you have a need today?  Do you need to hear from God today?  Let's us stand together in Jesus' name and receive by faith the love of God.

Thank you Lord for your never ending love.  Thank you Lord God for loving me and taking care of my every need.  I Love you.  Amen

Faith Will

Faith is our confidence in the Word of God.  Faith is believing and knowing without a doubt that God's word will work.  Faith is seeing in the Word of God what we are believing God for. (Mark 11:24-25) Therefore, FAITH will open up doors that cannot be open and close doors that cannot be closed.  FAITH will make a way out of no way.  FAITH will heal your body. Faith will see you through.  Faith will provide for you.  Faith will see you through. Faith will guide and deliver you.  Faith will comfort, protect and help you.  Faith will allow you to see the glory of God.  Faith will take you places that you never imagine.  Faith will bless you over and over.  Faith will work wonders in your life.  Faith will allow you see and be a miracle, a living walking testimony of the awesome power of God.  Faith will birth in the physical what you are desiring in the prayer.  Faith will allow God to work and do wonders on your behalf.  Faith will bring tears of joy.  Faith will move you to action (study Hebrews Chapter 11). Faith will always be the key to abundant life and the promises of God and without it is impossible to please God.

Faith Is

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith is believing in the Word of God; believing that you will see in the physical what you believe in your spirit.  Faith is having confidence that God's Word will come to past. Faith is knowing without a doubt that God's Word will work.  Faith is now. Faith is having the patience to wait on what you are believing God for.  Faith is not being moved by what you do not, yet, see in the physical.  Faith is knowing that there will be a physical manifestation.  Faith is having the staying power to remain focus on the results of your faith.  Faith is pleasing God.  Faith is totally relying of God for all things.  Faith is asking God in Jesus' name.  Faith is receiving from God.  Faith is embracing the Word of God and His promises no matter what.  Faith is not wondering how, but knowing that it will be. Faith is not talking, behaving or doing anything contrary to your faith.  Faith is releasing praise for your desires being answered.  Faith is standing firm on the Word of God and the promises He has made to you.

In Jeremiah 23:27, God said, "I am the Lord, the God of all mankind.  Is anything too hard for me?"  Faith is saying, "No Lord, there is nothing to hard for you, by faith I receive."

When Trouble Comes Knocking at Your Door

Saying we trust God is as easy as saying thank you.  But have you ever had to really trust Him?  Let's say that you are about to lose your home, lose your job, or facing a serious illness. With these types of scenarios staring you in the face, how do you trust God?  How can you really trust God when you are hurt, in pain, confused, have no direction,  or just a total mess?  The purpose of this blog is to help you learn how to trust God when trouble comes knocking at your door.

First, I am under the assumption that you are a born again. (if not, go to John 3:16 and get in God's family).  Being apart of God's family gives us all of the promises in the Bible.   However, the key is to know what is promised. You must spend time in God's Word, listen to faith preachers, tapes and read books.  Time is of essence, so the more God's Word that you can get into your spirit, the better.  You have to redeem the time lost (word time).  After all, you are being attacked, so this is a must.  SPEND TIME IN GOD'S WORD!  Do this with haste, fervency, and expectation.

Second, you must begin to say with your mouth what you have read or learned in the Word of God.  For example, if you are going through a physical challenge or sick, then you need to say out loud that according to Isaiah 53:5 , "By his stripes I am healed".  The wounds of Jesus endured on the cross provide healing for you and you must believe this.   If your need is financial in nature, study Proverbs Chapter 3.  In this chapter,  you will learn about prosperity, health, long life, favor with God and the benefits of tithing.- which are all promises of God.  But to have these promises, you will have to keep His commands, bind faithfulness and love around your neck, seek God's wisdom and understanding by spending time in the word.  Your desire to blessed by God will be determined  by your obedience to his Word and keeping his commands.

When trouble comes knocking at your door, you have a part in how to handle the trouble. Your part is to go the Word of God and locate in His Word that provides instruction, directions, and guidance on how to handle the trouble. Once you've identified God's Word that relates to your situation, put you faith into action by declaring his Word day and night, and praise God for answered pray. Do this until you see the results of your faith declarations. Stand firm each day.  Thank God for answered prayers and whatever you do, do not speak against your declarations of faith as it knocks out trouble in your life.  Continue to do this no matter what.

Be blessed in all that you do.

Faith Is and So Is Patience

Heb 6:12 (NIV) "We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those through faith and patience inherit what was promised."

I hope this scripture blesses you like never before.  We are admonished to imitate those in scripture, or maybe some people we know, in their faith and patience walk.  When you are standing on the promises of God, don't be moved by what you don't see, hear or feel.  Your stance should be firmed because of the promises of God. By patiently standing and believing, you will see, hear and feel the results of his Word.  We are to have great confidence in the word of God.  We are to keep our ears, eyes and heart steadfast on what God has promised us.  This act of steadfastness will deliver.  Scripture tells us that if we ask, we shall receive; if we seek, we shall find; and if we knock, the doors shall be open.  Faith is now and so is patience.  Patience is standing on the word of God until we see the evidence of our faith revealed.

Be blessed today in all that you do.

Trust In God

What does Trust in God mean?  How do you Trust in God?  How can you tell if you really Trust in God?

Trusting in God begins with the words that you say; the thoughts that you meditate on; and what you hear on a regular basis.  Trusting in God requires you to know what God has said (in the Bible) on whatever you are trusting in him for.  It requires you to spend time in his words searching for his truth.  It requires for you to write those words on your heart (spirit) and for you to think about them all the time. Meditate on them day and night, during your lunch hour, when you are working, when you are exercising, and when you prepare to sleep.  Your mind must be overcome with the word of God.  When you do this with tenacity you will begin to know in your spirit that all is well.  You will not have doubt or disbelief.  When someone ask you about your circumstance, you will respond with an affirmation of what God has said about your circumstance.  You will have such a confidence that cannot be moved, a confidence knowing that your Trust in God has delivered you.  Be Blessed.

Look to Christ For Help

Jesus is the truth and the light.  He is always there when you need him.  Trust in his holy name.  Call on him and he will answer.  Even if you do not know what scripture to cite, just call on him. Just saying, "Lord help me or Jesus help me" will cause him to seek you and provide for you.  He knows that this world that we live in has many issues that cause us hurt, pain, and sorrow.  But when his death on the cross made us victorious over our issues.  All we have to do is to call on his holy name,  Look to Christ for help.  He will see you through.  Just put your trust in him.  He loves us and is there for us.

Be Blessed today and always.

Faith in God's Word

As you go through life challenges there is one thing you need to remember and that is, “the battle is not yours, but the Lord’s.”  When you give your challenge to the Lord, leave it there.  Don’t pick it back up.  Of course doubts are going to enter into your mind.  Sure it may seem that nothing has happened to change your circumstance.  But this is where faith kicks in.  You’ve prayed about it.  You’ve cast that care to the Lord.  So now is the time to really stand on what you believe God for.  Easily said I know.   But I am here to tell you it can be easily done with faith.

Jesus said, “That if you ask anything in my name” God will give it to you.  In Matthew 21:22 Jesus said, “If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”   Faith is the substance of things hoped for (in prayer) and the evidence of things not seen.”  Faith is the answer to your prayer.  It is the breakthrough.  It is the physical manifestation, the tangible-touchable-reality of what you have believed God for.  It is the evidence; evidence of your faith in God’s Word.  Going through a challenge of any kind can be overcome, if you put your faith in God’s Word, don’t doubt and believe.

Give you problem/challenge to God and see the evidence of his mercy and grace through answered prayers.

God Bless!

Speak God's Word - Part 2

The Word of God is a powerful tool if you use it.  The Word of God is a weapon provided by God for us to use whenever we need it.  When you apply the Word of God, you are releasing his power over your life or circumstance.  In fact, you are saying to your problem, “OK, this is more than I can handle, but my Father who is in heaven can handle it.”  You are telling your problem that God has given you “the keys to heaven”; he has “made a way for you to escape”; and he (God) will see you through.  When you release the word of God by speaking his word, you are declaring that the victory is already won; that your blessing is here; and that you know without a shadow or doubt, that your prayers are answered.

Speaking the Word of God has great benefits and all you have to do is to believe and SPEAK IT!  God’s word will work for you, believe it, speak it and see it.

Talk to God Today

A couple of days ago, I attended a human resources conference.  It was filled with great content, professional speakers, and a exhibit hall.  Between each session, I would charge my way through the crowd to the exhibit halls to collect stamps from vendors with the goal of acquiring 500 points (500 points could get you a raffle ticket to drop in the lottery to win great prizes.)   This year's event had some fantastic prizes, an I-Pad, Atlanta Falcon Tickets, and two Coach handbags, to name a few.

By the end of the conference I had 1115 points and was handed my two lottery tickets.  As I viewed the prizes, I saw some expensive headphones that my son had been talking about since the summer.  OK, I said to myself, why not drop a ticket in for the headphones and the other ticket for the I-Pad?  Great idea, and I did just that.  The winners' names would be posted at the end of the last session.  As the last session came to a close, I remember saying,  "God, I would really like to win those headphones for my son."  You know what happened?  I won the the headphones.  Yes indeed.  I was a winner.

The next day as I was driving to work, I heard the spirit of  God say to me.  Margaret, my word is really simple.  Just ask me or tell me what your desire is.  You don't have to get double deep, or need to be emotionally high when you talk to me.  Talk to me like you talk to a friend.   Remember when Jesus walked around and people would call out for him.  He would say, "What would you have me do for you?"  And the people said, " Lord, heal my eyes so I could see." or "Heal my legs so I could walk."  Jesus responded immediately and healed them as they asked.

I thank God for his mercy, his grace and the simplicity of communication. God loves us and wants the best for us. We should talk with him regularly.  Talk to him like you talk to a friend or to your parent.  He has a sense of humor and is waiting on you to communicate.  Have faith in him, ask and thank him for answered prayers.  Talk to God today in plain and simple language.

Speak God's Word - Part 1

God gave us his word for us to use in our lives.  His word is life to those who finds it and health to your body. God's word is filled with his power and when you say what he has said about your circumstance, you are indeed giving the power of God over to your circumstance.  For example, let's say that you are having trouble at work. You study the bible and find the scripture that says, "No weapon formed against me shall prosper."  Instead of rehearsing the problem over and over, you speak the word of God over your problem.  So you say, "Lord, I release my care of my issues at work to you.  Lord, your word says that no weapon formed against me shall prosper.  Therefore, Lord my issue at work will not prosper and I thank you Lord for my answered prayer."  Now that you have made this declaration, keep it on your heart (spirit), on your mind, and in your mouth.  Sure things will escalate at work because the enemy wants to take you off of your focus.  But remember, you have declared God's word over your circumstance, so stay focus and don't doubt.   When a thought comes up that is contrary to the Word of God,  tell it to flee because your mind is made up and you know that God will work it out.

Do this and be blessed in the Lord, Jesus Christ.

Good Name, Favor and Health

Proverbs 3:1-7 (NIV)
“My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity.  Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.  Then you will find favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.  This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.”

This passage scripture is powerful and full of life changing promises.  Let’s examine.

We are to remember (and do) God’s teaching, word, commandments, instruction and we do this by keeping them in our heart (spirit).  To keep God’s word in your heart, you must study his word and know his word. Long life and prosperity is promised to us when we remember and keep God’s teaching and commands.

We are instructed to love always and to have faith; and again to do this by writing them in our heart (spirit).  God word tells us that the greatest commandment is to love.  When we walk in love we are pleasing to God because he is love.  And as a being obedient and walking in love, we will have favor with God and with man.

Finally, trust God and do not depend on our own intellect for understanding. Take everything to him in prayer and God will make our paths straight (direct, guide, deliver, set free).  God will answer our prayers. We are to turn away from evil and fear the Lord which will bring health to our bodies.

Be blessed.

It's OK to Cry!

No matter what you are going through right now at this very minute, you are not alone.  No matter what you’ve been told about your health, about your finances, about your home, about your job, you are not alone.  God said that he will never leave you.  He sent the Holy Spirit to comfort you, to hold you, to confirm his love for you.  I know how it hurts.  I know how you just want to cry and cry and cry.  Trust me; it is OK to do just that.  Crying has a way of releasing the pain of suffering.  Crying will allow you to let go and let God.  God is with you.  He hears your moans.  He sees your tears.  God will provide if you just trust him.

Benefits of Studying the Word of God

I hope this blog finds you in perfect peace.

When your life is running like a clock, it easy to smile, to have joy, to be energetic, to have a good attitude- I am sure you get what I am saying.  But on the contrary, once you’ve been delivered bad news of any kind, we spiritually slump.  Our mood shifts to “oh me oh my”; our smile goes away, our forehead has a questionable wrinkle on it, and our demeanor shifts to worry.  We may experience problems sleeping, eating and joy is no where in sight.  There is nothing unusual about these noticeable changes and for the most part, most people fall into this mode.  We are human and when we get bad news, it bothers the heck out of us.

However, the Word of God can protect us from worry, can shield us from doubt and can deliver to us peace that surpasses all understanding.

What should a person do when faced with a bad news situation? First, accept the fact that there are some things that you cannot control. When you relinquish your inability to control, you are giving the care and control over to the Lord.  The Word of God tells us to cast your care upon him, for he cares for you.  So do take your concern to God in prayer and leave it there.  Sure it is going to come up again in your mind, but when it does, tell the situation that you have given it to God and begin to praise God for answered prayer.

How can a person move from worry to total belief in God?  Worry is an enemy of the God’s word and is designed to keep you off focus.  Worry is an indication of lack of faith.  To eliminate worry, you must have faith in what God’s will is for you.  In order to have faith in God’s will for you, you must know what God word says.  To know what God’s word says, you must spend time studying his word. The word of God tells us to study/mediate on the word of God day and night then you will have success.  Friends to defeat worry and build your faith, you absolutely must spend time in the Word of God.  The time spent will get into your spirit and grow.  Your faith will become stronger.  You need to say what God has said on your behalf.  You must make God’s word a priority in your life (as if your life depended upon it) and in reality it does.

What can a person do to keep his spirit lifted in spite of?  To keep your spirit lifted, energize your mind with the promises of God. When you study the word of God, your mind is fruitful.  Your mind remembers and recalls what God’s word said about a given situation.  When you think of these wonderful promises of God, praise God for his faithfulness.  Give God’s word your voice and by doing so your spirit will be lifted.  Remember every day is a new day, so the next day, you must make a decision to praise God for answered prayers, believe and keep your spirit energize with the Word of God.

In summation, the Word of God has everything you need to see you through any situation.  Make a decision today to study the word of God daily so you might have good success.

When Life Happens

My mother, rest her soul, use to say, “Just keep on living and one day life will happen to you”.  When she would say this, I would just smile and say, I know what you mean.  My family for the most part was physically blessed.  My mom, dad, grandmother and great uncles lived a good life, disease free until very late in their lives.   But as my mother said, our turn of events came in sets, my great uncle, my grandmother, my daddy, my mother and then my other great uncle all died over a span of 5 years.  My mom and dad died within 5 months of each other.  Suddenly it was.

During this time of my life and the first time in my life, I was in “when life happens”.  What got me through my “when life happens” moment, was a trust in God like never before.  I had to spend time with him alone.  I read the Word a lot, I prayed a lot, and of course I cried a lot.  I had to build my faith quick because I had to be strong for my parents, grandmother and great uncles.  Plus I had children of my own and had to be strong for them.  I was with my grandmother when she passed.  The doctors took me to a private room while they tried to revive her, I prayed to God (she was 86) and he said to me that he had her.  I was relieved and sad, but more relieved because I knew where she was.  I cried at the foot of my mother’s hospital bed because she was towing with living and giving up.  She finally gave up.  Hurtful as it was, there was nothing that I could do or say.

When life happens to you, you must put your faith in God into another gear.  You realize how insignificant other issues are and come to a place of understanding what’s important to God and ultimately to you.  You mature to a new height.  When life happens, you need to talk to God more and ask for strength.  The Word of God tells us to study and mediate on God’s word day and night, and my friends believe me, when life happens, you will do just this.  You should seek his word for understanding, for help, and for comfort.  You will come to realization that God is good no matter what and he was indeed there with you when life happens.

Early Morning Prayer

There is something really special when you wake up early in the morning and commune with the Lord.  Your body is rested, your mind is fresh, and movement is still.  Your thoughts are clear; your spirit is alive and attuned to the Lord.  You begin to thank him for his mercy, for waking you up, for protecting you through the night.  You fall on your face and just praise him for his greatness, his love and for his care.  You think about all that he has brought you through and how he has blessed you.  You think about what it could have been, or what could have happened; suddenly, tears form in the corner of your eyes – tears of joy and gratitude.

You lift your hands to Jesus; you lift your voice to Jesus, you begin to sway side to side because the joy of the Lord has come upon you.  You let go of yourself from a conscience standpoint and just let the Holy Spirit have his way.  You enter into the spiritual realm and there is nothing like it and you can’t explain it.  But you just know that the God is there.  The Lord is there.  Your help is there.  Your comforter is there.  Your friend is there.  You relief is there.  Your peace is there.  Whatever you need from God is there.  He is there to deliver you, to offer you and to assure you of his presence.

God loves us and wants us to seek him early.  Early Morning Prayer, worship and fellowship with God – what an awesome way to begin your day!

Salt and Light

I am sure that I do not have to define what salt or light is.  But for the sake of this blog, salt is a mineral that preserves and light is the elimination of darkness and it brings about an awareness of where you are and guides you.

With that being said, let me ask you two questions.

#1 - As you walk with Christ, are you the salt of the earth ? (Matthew 10:13)

#2- Is your light shining or have you shared some light with anyone lately?  (Matthew 10:10:14)

When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you accepted the position to further the Gospel of God. This task is accomplished by diligently studying the Word of God, through earnest prayer and by the Holy Spirit who guides us into all truths. We become the ‘salt of the earth”, a preserver of the Word of God, when we share the gospel with people. We preserve God’s truth by sharing with people his mercy, grace and love.  When we minister to people, a requirement for all who are born again, we provide light (knowledge) to those who do not know him.  Being the salt and the light of the earth is a calling and a privilege.  Now that you know, spend time in the Word of God.  Study his word daily.  Ask for guidance and direction.  Finally pray without ceasing and heed to the call.  “Many are called, but few are chosen.”  Where do you fit?

A Financial Revelation

About a month ago as I was purging some files and documents, I ran across some old check payment records.  I peruse them and just sat with amazement at how little my telephone and utilities bills were.  What happened, I wondered?  What services is the phone company providing me in 2011 that had caused my bill to triple in just ten years?   The electrical wiring to my home is the same.  The caller ID and call waiting features were still in tact, no mystery here.  So what caused, or why has my phone service skyrocketed?  Why it is that most of my utilities cost about $100.00 each per month?  What happened?

Once I finished shredding the stack of documents, I began to talk to God about what I had just noticed.  I asked the Lord to help me be a better steward in my finances.  I asked him to guide me in the principles of debt reduction and help me get control of my finances. I repented for not being a good steward over what he had given me and decided at that moment to contact any creditors where I had a past due balance or was unable to make payment.  I had to be honest with myself about where I was and about where I wanted to go.  The Word of God says that the “truth will make you free” and “to owe man nothing but to love him.”   My truth on that day was that I was not controlling all of my finances and that if I owe a creditor, I had to make it right with the truth and my ability to pay.

Plain and simple!

Trust God!

Trust God.  Trust God.  How many times have you been told this?  You find yourself facing a challenging life crisis, a sudden turn for the worst, or any life event that is causing you some anguish and despair.  You called friends for advice, maybe talked with your spouse, parents or pastor.  And the message you have heard over and over is to Trust God.  Trust God, how does a person Trust God?  What does a person do to improve their Trust in God?  Where does a person begin?   I prayerfully hope that I can shed some light on your quest to Trust God.

First to Trust God, you must truly believe that he is God and that he will do what he said he will do.  To help you in this revelation, study the Genesis, Chapter 1.  When God created the world and all that we see, he first said and then he saw.  I repeat, “He said it and then He saw it.”  He saw what He said - very simple, but very powerful.  Make a decision to believe in the power of God.  All it takes is a decision.

Second, you must know God’s word concerning your situation.   If you need a physical healing, study the scriptures on healing, pick out one or two and memorize, meditate and declare/say them out loud.  For starters go to the Book of Isaiah 53:4-5.  If your situation requires wisdom, study the Book of Proverbs.  Whatever your need is, you must find what God has said, or Jesus, study the scripture or passage, meditate on it and give it your voice. Trusting in God is going to take some work on your part.  There are some things that you have to do for your Trust in God to grow and develop.  If it is important enough, you will do it.

Third, repent of your sins every day and forgive others. Sin and not forgiving others can block your prayers, so be sure to take care of this daily.  You cannot afford to have your blessings blocked. The Word of God assures us that if we repent of our sins, God will forgive us and throw them in to the lake of forgetfulness.   Your part in this is to ask God to forgive you so he can work on your behalf.  Again a simple truth, but we complicate it.  Stay with simple, by just doing it.

Finally, thank and praise God for his mercy, for delivering you, for answering your prayers and for just being who He is.  Remember, when you say what God has said, you are talking and praying to God.  The Word of God says that he roams the earth looking for someone he can bless.  He is waiting on you to bring your challenge or situation to him.  God bless!

Praise - An Outward Expression

Have you ever attended church service and the worship leader ask you to stand and give God some praise?  Do you find yourself sitting on the pews looking around at the people who are praising and you say to yourself, what’s up with this outward expression of gratitude?  Or have you attended a sporting event, be it soccer or football; or watched such an event on the television?  What do the fans do at these events?  Do they scream, shout, jump up and down, hi-five each other, wave their hands, and rejoice when their team is winning or do something spectacular? Those fans, as an act of their free will, are showing an outward expression of praise for their team.

Praise is an outward expression of adoration, love, joy, and gratitude.  Praise is a way of telling someone, the object of your praise, how you feel about something that has been accomplished, or to be accomplished.  When you praise God, as an act of your free will, you are telling God that you love and adore him.  You are telling God that you have joy in him and that you thank him for what he has done or will do.  God’s word tells us that he (God) inhabits the praises of him people.  So, you see there is a benefit when you praise God - He comes to you and sit in the mist of your praise.   Take the opportunity to praise him as an act of your free will and receive the blessings of God.

Talking to God

When you and a friend have a conversation, you are yourself, you talk with ease, you allow your emotions to flow, and you may even stumble on words, but most importantly, you are engaged in dialogue.  Depending on the conversation, you may find yourself laughing to tears or very serious making sure not to leave out any detail. There is an exchange of information between two people.

Talking to God should be like talking to a friend.  You should be yourself, at ease and have a sincere desire to communicate.  You do not have to seem or be pious, or feel that you are unworthy, because through Jesus Christ, God gave us the right to come “strongly to the throne of grace” and to speak to him. Strongly here is referring to a confidence knowing that we have an audience with him and that he hears us. Talking with God should be an exchange of words, thoughts, desires, prayers or just plain ole conversation.  Talking to God is not you doing all of the talking and none of the listening. God wants to tell or show you some things. But if you are not listening, you will miss out on what God has in store for you.

Remember, a conversation takes two. The next time you talk to God, remember he is your father and friend, so speak directly to him about whatever whenever.

When "Life Happens" - What?

When things are going great, it's easy to trust God.  You know, the bills are paid, your health is good, family is safe; in other words, there is no distraction lurking outside your door.  You are full of smiles.  You have no real complaints. You are busy with plans, good times and happiness.  Then one day, it hits you like a ton of bricks - a life changing event occurs.  All of a sudden your world is inside out. You find yourself hopeless with no ability to bring about change. People please be informed that the real test of trust occurs when things are not going so great.

So what should a person do when faced with adversity, a challenge, a life issue, or just misfortune?

First, understand that "life happens" to us all and you are not alone. Second, understand that trusting God is more than a notion and the issue you are facing will heavily depend on your trust in Him. To help you get through your situation, God has provided his Word.  He has given you his beloved son, Jesus, with the authority to provide help when you are in need.  He has given you countless examples of people before you to study and emulate their behavior.  He has given you his Words to deploy at will on your behalf.  He has given you the Holy Spirit, the "muscle of God", to bring His Word to pass.

When trouble comes your way, take action by taking the Word of God, believing and having faith that He will do what He said He would do.

Loving God

Loving God is losing self and self interest to do the will of God.  Loving God is being Christ like in mind, spirit and deeds.  Loving God is allowing him to flow freely in you, through you and accepting his guidance even though you think otherwise.  Loving God is listening to his every instruction with a desire to be obedient.  Loving God is simply being a vessel for the master's use.  Loving God is not wondering how, what or why, but knowing that He is and will bring it to pass.  Loving God is trusting in Him totally for all things, in all ways, and at all times.  Loving God is a walk we should strive for no matter where we are in life.

Give God's Word Your Voice

No matter what you are going through right now; no matter what the situation is; no matter how long you've been at it, Give God's Word Your Voice.  When trouble comes your way or when you have no where to turn, Give God's Word Your Voice.  There is tremendous power in the Word of God, but it must be activated.  The Word of God has the ability to change things and deliver results, but it (His Word) must be activated.  Open up your mouth and activate the Word of God.  Give God's Word Your Voice.   Say what He has said regarding your challenge.  Let the words of your mouth be filled with God's Words.  Meditate on God's Words.  Say out loud what God has said.  Speak life to your challenge and believe.

Plain and simple, keep the Word of God alive by constantly saying what God has said on your behalf and by doing so, you are giving God's Word Your Voice.

Yesterday, Today, and Forever

Hebrews 13:8 says that "Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever".  We've heard this truth preached in the churches, on evangelitical stations, and written in numerous books.  But what is the jist of this message?  How do I apply this message every day?  Tell me, tell me, some of you may be asking.  Before I begin, let me say, that I do believe in God and Jesus and do love them.

In order to know the sameness of Jesus, you must know Him.  You must have a personal relationship with him.  You must recieved Him as you savior.  For those of you who need salvation go to John 3:16, read, do and receive Him today.

To know the sameness of Jesus, you must know who He is, what He has done or did, and by default, you will know what He will do.  Jesus is the son God, or the Word of God, or if you will, "the action of God".  Jesus knows what God knows and does what God wants done in the earth, on the earth and for us.  Jesus is  God.  For example, the bible tells us that it is the will of God for us to be in good health.  Knowing this, when sickness comes at our door, you and Jesus know the will of God.  God healed people yesterday (years ago).  He healed people today; and He will heal people tomorrow.  Knowing this you can call on Jesus for the "action of God" to fall on your life/body and asked to be healed in the name of Jesus.  Plain and simple - God wants you healed.  He wants you to have an abundant life.  There is no mystery about it.  Plain and simple received your healing through Christ Jesus.  Plain and Simple, you also have to believe that you recieved and don't doubt.

While Outside

As I sit in a special corner of my house, I have an amazing view of outside.  Not only is this my sit corner, but it also serves as my write...
